You see how people write themselves to-do lists of all the errands they need to run and things they need to do? Well I am forever writing myself to-buy lists instead, because there are always things that I need to go and buy but always forget!
At present it consists mainly of small bits and bobs, a new pair of earphones or headphones - I can't decide on which, so maybe both, I need to buy an r4ds card for my Nintendo, and I need a bigger memory card for my camera for when I go on holiday next year.
But most importantly I need to buy myself some professional personalised ear plugs. I go to a lot of live music concerts, gigs and festivals as part of my job, and I've also started DJing so I'm in environments with blaring loud music a lot, and I need to protect my ears.
You order online and then go to a centre to get your ear canal impressioned, then within 2 weeks they send you your personalised professional noise attenuating ear plugs. They cost about £100, so this will be my Christmas present to myself I guess!
